The most refined shirt in the lineup is our Paris shirt boding petite ruffle detailing on the cuffs, placket and the collar band.  Commonly referred to as a mandarin collar, standing collar or choker collar, this style of collar pays homage to the deathly culture in which it is derived from.  As we paired styles with city names that were prevalent in the wild west and high fashion, this shirt became the Paris shirt for obvious reasons.  Still today the mecca of couture, Paris is the worlds fashion capital thanks to the impact of heavy hitters like Coco Chanel, Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.
 
The beige gingham fabric this shirt is made from is a beautiful weight of 100% organic cotton shirting fabric, the same variety as the Pendleton denim blue gingham shirt.  We detailed this shirt with the denim fabric, providing a similar visual bridge as the Cavalier Camel Tweed & Denim Jacket.  Grounding the fair tones of the gingham with the soft denim color providing the visual framing of the pattern as well as, the denim acting as an invitation for casual styling.
