The pinnacle of elegance meets edgy, this eyelet fabric in a visibly appealing shade of denim blue pairs perfectly with the apricot piping.  The colors are complimentary and the textures are appealing.  While the this eyelet fabric is a beautiful denim color, this shirt is not denim.  It is a drapy eyelet fabric that has a lovely stretch to it and is soft to the touch.  Because of the nontraditional eyelet fabric, this shirt would be great for all the usual Functional Fit shirt activities, as well as, a swim suit cover or a lacey addition to a dress or formal look.
 
The pairing of the denim blue and apricot colors may appear very vibrant, but due to denim shades often falling into a neutral category, this shirt would look great with colored pairings as well.
